Summer University 2020
The University Students' Camp began at the Rákóczi Camp and Events Centre in Sátoraljaújhely on 17 August 2020.
On 17 August, lectures were delivered at the camp by Speaker of the National Assembly László Kövér and prime ministerial commissioner Katalin Szili. Starting from 10 a.m. on 18 August, participants were addressed by Gergely Gulyás, Minister of the Prime Minister's Office. Following the Minister's talk, keys to the Rákóczi Camp and Events Centre were symbolically handed over to the contractor ahead of reconstruction. With assistance from the Government of Hungary, a fully refurblished leisure complex is set to welcome Hungarian youth from 4 June 2021.
Among others, the camp was also visited by Deputy State Secretary Zsófia Rácz, T-Systems CEO Zoltán Kaszás and security policy expert György Nógrádi. Participants had excursions to the Zemplén Adventure Park and the Archaeological Park of the Hungarian Conquest at Karos.
